I work primarily in oils, sometimes in gouache, and sneak in an occasional mosaic. My subject matter is most often landscapes and, as a New Jersey native, I find the ocean and water to be my favorite muse.

I currently paint and exhibit at heARTstudio a working gallery in the Hubbards Wood Design district of Winnetka, IL. It provides an opportunity to experiment with an open studio, collaborate with Lisa Byrne and Nancy Iida, and paint A LOT more often. I am working to develop a looser style, and practice plein air in the next several months.

My favorite Masters are Mary Cassat and Vuillard.

David Sharpe, Richard Claremont, and Stuart Shils are a few contemporary artists I admire.
